Spotlight on Orphans

Lydia O. is a beautiful young girl of 14. She is in form 1, which is equivalent to the freshman year of high school in America. Lydia's parents are both dead, and though she lived with a grandmother for a while, she is now alone again after she too, died. We have taken her into Glory Center orphanage so that she might continue her education, and not have to resort to crime or early marriage in order to survive. The opportunities for young women are minimal in Kenya without someone to advocate for them. She now has a chance at a good life, and it can be even more so by someone deciding to make her part of their "family", supporting her with prayer, love, and letters. Perhaps Lydia can be your daughter, granddaughter, or sister? We can promise loving her will bring as many rewards to you as it will to her.
